The Fencing Hall is located at the National Convention Center's south side and covers an area of 56,000 square meters. It is equipped with seating for 4,400 spectators.

The National Convention Center is a new convention center located in the Olympic Green in Beijing constructed for the 2008 Summer Olympics. It covers an area of 270,000 square meters. It is one of the principal buildings of the Olympic Green.

The convention center will serve as the competition spot for fencing, the shooting and fencing disciplines of the modern pentathlon, as well as the International Broadcast Center and the Main Press Center.

As the top class convention and exhibition center, it will heighten the level of Beijing's facilities of holding conventions and exhibitions after the Games.
