The Olympic Green Hockey Stadium is one of the eight temporary venues to be used for the 2008 Summer Olympics, used for the field hockey events. It covers an area of 15,539 square meters with two fields and can seat 17,000 people.
Field A, at the western part of the venue, has a capacity of 12,000 seats and will be used for the finals, while the 5,000-seat Field B located at the eastern part will be used for the preliminaries.
All field hockey games will be played at the hockey field constructed on the Olympic Green. The venue will be deconstructed and transformed into grasslands of the Olympic Forest Park after the Olympics.
