Fenghuang Ancient Town
The Fenghuang Ancient Town is located in Fenghuang County, Hunan Province, China. It is an exceptionally well-preserved ancient town that harbors unique ethnic languages, customs, arts as well as many distinctive architectural remains of Ming and Qing styles. The majority of the city's population is comprised of the Miao and Tujia minorities. It is renowned for its natural beauty, rich history and culture as well as colorful ethnic customs.

The town is embraced by green mountains, with Tuo Jiang River running through its heart. Unique wooden houses constructed on stilts are built along the riverbank.
